ROM Media Preview: Wildlife Photographer of the Year

TORONTO, Nov. 16, 2015 /CNW/ - Media are invited to preview the 2015 Wildlife Photographer of the Year (WPY). Exhibition showcases 100 stunning images of the natural world and includes winning photographs from three Canadians.

On tour from the Natural History Museum, in London, UK, exhibition showcases stunning images from professional and amateur photographers from 96 countries. This year's show highlights work of three Canadians including the overall winning image from Dr. Don Gutoski, of London, Ontario. Gutoski's photo, A tale of two foxes, was taken near Wapusk National Park, near Cape Churchill, Manitoba. Also featured are winning images from Connor Stefanison of British Columbia, the Rising Portfolio Winner, and Josiah Launstein of Alberta, an Under 10 Finalist. WPY is the largest photography competition in the world and attracts more than 42,000 entries.

WPY exhibition opens on Saturday, November 21, 2015
Tickets are: $7.00 + ROM General Admission; Student and Senior WPY tickets are $5.00, and WPY tickets for children aged four to 14 years are $3.00 (children under 3 are free). 
WPY is free for ROM Members.
