HALIFAX, Oct. 16, 2017 /CNW/ - Haligonians have a new destination for the latest local news, features on community leaders and events, business openings and everything in between, with the debut of HalifaxToday.ca. Powered by NEWS 95.7, journalists from Rogers Media's award-winning news and talk radio station provide the local news content on the website. Through a collaboration with Village Media, the successful digital news network provides the platform to offer HalifaxToday.ca on smartphone, desktop, and tablet.
"We're always exploring new ways to reach our local audience, and with Village Media's proven track record in building successful locally-focused digital news sites, this agreement is a perfect fit," said Mark Campbell, Director of News and Programming, NEWS 95.7, Rogers Media.
