"Our December auction in Saskatoon is a great time for farmers to capitalize on a tremendous 2013 harvest season by buying equipment now that they'll need next year," said Jordan Clarke, Regional Sales Manager, Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers. "This auction features a great line up of late model tractors, combines, sprayers, swathers and other farm equipment. We will also be selling a 2010 Terex Magnum 275 TPH portable counter flow asphalt batch plant for the first time at this auction site. I would like to thank all of this year's sellers who have trusted us to sell their equipment to the world."
More than 1,400 equipment items and trucks will be sold in the auction, including:
- Eight John Deere 4940 120-ft high clearance sprayers (two 2013 models & six 2012 models)
- Six 2012 John Deere S690 combines
- Five 2013 MacDon M155 40-ft swathers
- Five New Holland CR8090 combines (three 2013 models & two 2012 models)
- Four John Deere 9560RT track tractors (two 2013 models & two 2012 models)
- Two 2013 Seed Hawk 8412 84-ft air drills
Equipment will be sold for multiple owners, including John Deere equipment dealer JayDee AgTech, and P&C Ag Ventures Ltd./K&C Farms Ltd., which farms 22,000± acres in Saskatchewan.
"We are selling a large package of equipment that covers all areas of agriculture—something for everyone—including combines, high-clearance sprayers, a wide selection of tractors and more," said Travis Moberg, Re-Marketing Manager of JayDee AgTech. "Most of the combines we have in the auction have had full greenlights—our technicians have brought them back up to factory specs so they are ready to go straight to work. We've also included some combines that have been untouched for the owner who wants to do that work themselves. Our company has been selling at Ritchie Bros. Saskatoon auction site for years and this is the nicest equipment package we've ever consigned."
"We recently decided to upgrade our entire fleet, and instead of trying to trade in one piece at time we came to Ritchie Bros. because we knew they were the only ones who could handle an equipment package of this size," said Craig Crone, President of P&C AG Ventures Ltd. and Director of K&C Farms Ltd. "We have close to 30 pieces of equipment in the auction and most of it is only one year old—it's all low hour, well maintained and cleaned inside and out."
Consignments are still being accepted for the Saskatoon auction; anyone interested in selling their equipment can contact the auction site at +1.306.933.9333. For more information on this or any other Ritchie Bros. auction, visit www.rbauction.com.
