TORONTO, Sept. 18, 2012 /CNW/ - HBO Canada, a multiplex channel of Corus Entertainment's Movie Central (Western Canada) and Astral's The Movie Network (Eastern Canada) presents the third season of its award-winning, twisted comedy series, Call Me Fitz. Starring Jason Priestley as Richard "Fitz" Fitzpatrick, a morally flawed car salesman who is forced to become business partners with his inner conscience, the new season finds Fitz desperate to join the ranks of the powerful and attempt a run for public office. Call Me Fitz (Season 3) premieres Sunday, September 23 at 8:00 p.m. ET/MT with two back-to-back episodes, and the following week moves into its regularly scheduled timeslot, Sunday nights at 8:30 p.m. ET/MT.
In the new season, after his beloved Summer Wind lounge is forced to close by City Hall, Fitz sees only one option: take over City Hall. With Larry (Ernie Grunwald) and Dot Foxley (Amy Sloan) running his campaign, Fitz is hell bent on forcing himself into office, any way he can. Before he can win the election he has to get by Melody Gray (guest star Gabrielle Miller), the city's hardnosed on-the-street reporter and in her mind the most important journalist in news. Melody is not only determined to ruin Fitz's political aspirations but has a long standing feud with Dot. It's City Hall or bust on this season of Call Me Fitz.
