5,000 BPD Oil and Gas Expansion in Odessa Texas
CALGARY, AB and SCOTTSDALE, AZ, May 23, 2013 /CNW/ - Ridgeline Energy Services Inc. ("Ridgeline" or the "Company") (TSXV: RLE, OTCQX: RGDEF, FSE: RL7) a technology driven company operating in the waste water industry announces new facility in Texas. New facility sees addition of second major oil and gas customer.
Ridgeline is pleased to announce the installation of a waste water treatment facility that will be installed south of Odessa, Texas. The facility will have an initial capacity of 5,000 barrels per day. This will mark Ridgeline's second major oil and gas customer in the Permian Basin. As with other Ridgeline oil and gas service facilities, the installation will be located at a permanent tank battery with substantial storage to allow for the reuse of the treated water. Installation of the new facility will be started immediately and completed in July of this year.
The effort on the new facility was headed by Tyler Heathcote, Ridgeline's Director of Oil and Gas Development and Midland General Manager, Ian Kerr.
Dennis M. Danzik CEO stated "Again our oil and gas presence continues to escalate as a new anchor customer offers Ridgeline another opportunity to lead in the ever growing water treatment market within the oil and gas industry. This year we see our capacity grow again, and with a new customer in the oil industry that is concerned about water usage and the ever growing environmental impact, and how to lessen the impact on both".
Tyler Heathcote, Director of Oil and Gas for Ridgeline stated, "I have to recognize the immediate benefit of Ian Kerr joining our team in Midland. As well, we see the entire market for water treatment in oil and gas demand increasing. As with our other facilities, this installation will handle produced water, directly from the oilfield tank battery".
Ridgeline will continue concentration of its oil and gas expertise in waste water treatment and management in the Midland market. The Company sees continued growth opportunities through 2013 with increased production activities in the Permian Basin.
