Richard Harmon signs LOI to star in "RED LIGHT GO"
MIAMI BEACH, FL AND VANCOUVER, BC, Feb. 25, 2014 /CNW/ - Cre8tive Works, Inc. ("Cre8tive") (OTCPINK:FILM) today announces that the Producers of indie drama, RED LIGHT GO, have confirmed that Richard Harmon, 22, has made his desire to be involved in project official by signing a letter of intent to star in the picture. One of the hottest young stars in Canada, Harmon is also making a name for himself in Hollywood thanks to his compelling performances in a number of roles, including Jasper Ames in AMC's The Killing and his Leo Award winning role as Julian Randol on the hit TV series Continuum (Syfy, Showcase).
His long and growing list of credits also include the roles of Richard Slymore in A&E's Bates Motel, John Murphy in the much talked about upcoming CW sci-fi series, The Hundred, and his moving performance as a blind student attempting to make his high school track team in the indie feature, If I had Wings.
It was the script that instantly captured Harmon's attention and interest. After reading it, he simply said, "We have to make this movie!" According to Director, Dale Wolfe, "Richard brings a rare level of depth to Sebastian's character. His intensity and ability to capture the darkness of Sebastian comes across instantly, while his kind nature and believability as an actor counters that darkness with likeability and hope."
Harmon joins a growing list of notable, award winning personnel who are attached to the project, including Emmy Award winning Producer, Dawn Knight.
On January 28, 2014 Cre8tive Works, Inc. announced that it has signed a Letter of Intent to invest a maximum of $300,000 in the independent film production RED LIGHT GO in exchange for up to 50% interest and executive producer rights. The Letter of Intent outlines the basic terms for a formal agreement under which Cre8tive will be paid back on a "First Out" basis equaling the amount of the initial investment. The funds for the re-payment will be generated from international sales and British Columbia and Canadian Government film tax credits. Upon recoupment of the total production budget, Cre8tive will retain its interest based on its initial investment and will share in subsequent net profits generated from the film project. Shooting of RED LIGHT GO is planned for the spring of 2014.
