Revera earns status of "Accredited with Exemplary Standing"
TORONTO, April 23, 2013 /CNW/ - Revera Inc., a leading provider of seniors care and services is proud to announce that the company's home care division, Revera Home Health, has been accredited by Accreditation Canada as Accredited with Exemplary Standing. This is Accreditation Canada's highest award.

A team of surveyors spent a week visiting 17 branch sites and conducting extensive interviews with staff, clients and family members, as well as two groups of community partners. Revera Home Health was evaluated on all aspects of health care, from patient safety and ethics, to staff training and partnering with the community. Key strengths identified during the evaluation process included a caring culture, front line staff that are committed, engaged and well-trained, and notable communications, leadership and innovation.
The final accreditation report highlighted that "Revera Home Health is a people-focused organization which understands the importance of quality service to the client."
As part of Accreditation Canada's process, organizations are surveyed once every three to four years and receive an accreditation decision of: Not Accredited, Accredited, Accredited with Commendation, or Accredited with Exemplary Standing.
