LONDON, ON, April 1, 2017 /CNW/ - Thai Kitchen is initiating a voluntary recall for Thai Kitchen Original Pad Thai Stir-fry Sauce 236 mL jars with BB/MA: 2018JN27 due to the possibility of an unlabeled peanut allergen. The Original Pad Thai Stir-fry Sauce may actually contain Peanut Satay Sauce due to an isolated mislabeling.
People with an allergy to peanut should not consume the recalled product described below. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanut, run the risk of serious allergic reaction, including anaphylaxis, if they consume the product. No illnesses have been reported to date.
This product was only shipped into Canada. This recall does not impact any other Thai Kitchen products.
