MONTREAL, Feb. 20, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - On February 27th, Ray Junior Courtemanche and his racing team, Danam Bonzaï Racing will participate in the NASCAR K&N series at the Bristol Motor Speedway racetrack.
The Danam Bonzaï Racing team will begin its intensive practice in order to master this half-mile track, one of the fastest and most dangerous racetracks in the world. They will also be performing some technical adjustments.
As one of the only French Canadian there, Ray will be able to practice with top-caliber drivers who will be trying out for the K&N, Nationwide and Sprint Cup Series. These races will take place during the Food City 500 weekend on the 17th and 18th of March. Ray Junior Courtemanche will be driving a Chevy Impala. All technical tests and adjustments will be performed by the BGM Racing team, who has been participating in the NASCAR series for over 20 years.
This endeavor will allow the Montreal pilot to gain additional experience prior to the NASCAR Canadian Tire 2012 Series taking place this summer on different Canadian racetracks. Ray Junior Courtemanche and his team's goal is becoming rookie of the year in this nationwide Canadian competition.
