Free Movies Day marks opening celebrations
TORONTO, Nov. 13, 2013 /CNW/ - Rainbow Elgin Mills Cinema, located at 10909 Yonge St., Richmond Hill, is celebrating its opening with a Free Movies Day on Wednesday, November 20. While admission to the movies is free, a contribution of $2 or more, per person, to support The Toronto Star's Santa Claus Fund will be gratefully accepted. Donations of twenty dollars or more receive a tax receipt upon request.
"Movie-fans have been very generous to charities involved with previous open-house days", said Gulshan Singh of Rainbow Cinemas. He added, "The Santa Claus Fund provides gifts for underprivileged children and is the perfect charity choice for this time of the year."

Regular programming at Rainbow Elgin Mills commences from Thursday, November 21 with all new films, including the much anticipated The Hunger Games - Catching Fire.
Admission prices will be: $$6.00 for Children and Seniors; $7 for students and adults during matinees and $9 for Adult during evenings. Tuesdays are always $5 for any movie and age.
The ten-screen cinema has been equipped with the latest sound and projection systems to enhance the movie experience. Additional features of the cinema complex include two birthday party rooms, video games and plentiful free parking.
Rainbow Elgin Mills Cinema's lobby showcases Richmond Hill themed murals by Ontario artist, Fred Harrison, whose unique creations are also featured at many other Rainbow Cinemas across Saskatchewan and Ontario.
Rainbow Cinemas are affiliated with Magic Lantern Theatres, which is a community-based Canadian Exhibition Company, established in 1980. With the opening of the Rainbow Elgin Mills Cinema, the company will expand its operations to 16 cinema locations across Canada with a total of 87 screens.
