OTTAWA, May 21, 2015 /CNW/ - The Curvy Girls Scoliosis Support Group Of Ottawa, (CGO) is hosting their 4th Annual Scoliosis Awareness Walk and Roll. The event is scheduled to take place at Stanley Park from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday June 6.
Curvy Girls Ottawa is a peer-lead support group for teens with scoliosis. Scoliosis is a medical condition resulting in an abnormal curvature of the spine. The Curvy Girls have teamed up with CHEO to raise much needed awareness for this condition and funds for Scoliosis Care.
Eva Anderson the leader of the Curvy Girls Scoliosis Support Group of Ottawa, is hoping for a huge turnout this year. Join the Curvy Girls and CHEO for a morning of fun activities to raise awareness and support for scoliosis. Guests can participate in the Morning Motorcycle Ride or the 2-3K Walk. Activities include a silent auction, family Zumba with Dee Ciple and more! Guest Speaker Alex Munter, President and CEO of CHEO.
