MONTREAL , Jan. 11 /CNW Telbec/ - The French Chamber of Commerce in Canada is pleased to invite the Canadian and European financial community to the 6th annual Venture Capital Forum taking place on the 1st, 2nd at the Intercontinental hotel in Montreal and 3rd of February 2010 at the Colonnade hotel in Boston , USA.

Will attend at the event several major Funds such as: Teralys Capital, Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, the French Caisse des dépôts et consignations, HarbourVest, the Ontario Venture Capital Fund, the UK Innovation Investment Fund.

The Venture Capital Forum Canada-France was first held in 2004. It aims to foster partnerships between the European and North American venture capital sectors. Round-table discussions, business lunches and the investors' dinner as well as numerous private meeting areas will further enhance the networking opportunities.

20 innovative companies among three categories - Life Sciences, ITC and Industrial innovation - will be presented on Monday February 1st, 2010 to a wide panel of Funds.
