/R E P E A T -- Understanding Ontario's Housing Affordability Challenge: A Big Data Evaluation/

TORONTO, May 17, 2017 /CNW/ - At a time when the GTHA's housing crunch is one of the hottest toppics in the media, the Canadian Centre for Economic Analysis (CANCEA) is launching a report that examines and links over 40 housing supply and demand factors and the behaviours they drive in Ontario and the GTHA.

Led by Paul Smetanin, the CANCEA team will present ground-breaking, data-driven research which measures and explains the housing market on Tuesday, May 23, starting at 8 a.m.

Smetanin's presentation will be followed by a panel discussion with some of the Toronto region's top minds on housing (see below), and then CBC Toronto News anchor Dwight Drummond will moderate a GTHA mayors panel with Mississauga Mayor Bonnie Crombie, Brampton Mayor Linda Jeffrey, Barrie Mayor Jeff Lehman and Ajax Mayor Steve Parish.
