MONTREAL , Jan. 19 /CNW Telbec/ - Journalists are invited to attend Metro's Annual Shareholders Meeting and a news briefing after the meeting adjourns. During the meeting, Metro will discuss various subjects and will present the results for the first quarter of fiscal 2009-2010.

    Following adjournment of the Meeting (about 12:15 p.m.)
    Mansfield room, Mansfield level

    Journalists who wish to attend the Annual Meeting must present themselves
    at the "Media" table. Question period is reserved exclusively for
    shareholders during the Annual General Meeting.

    N.B.: No electronic equipment (video or still cameras, tape recorders,
    etc.) will be permitted in the room where the Annual General Meeting is
    taking place. However, a brief taping session will take place prior to
    the opening of the meeting.
