MONTREAL, April 29, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Garage à musique, an initiative of Fondation du Dr Julien, is pleased to invite you to its first benefit concert on June 10, 2015 at Théâtre Denise-Pelletier. This will be a marvellous opportunity to see Dr. Julien's children blossom on stage as they perform "The Great Classics" accompanied by some talented artists deeply committed to the Fondation's mission: musicians Michel Rivard, Marc Hervieux, Nadja and Catherine Major, and host Christian Bégin.
This benefit concert will showcase a symphony orchestra composed of children from Garage à musique, their teachers, students at Collège Durocher Saint-Lambert and a number of professional musicians. On the evening's program: the great classics of popular music from Quebec and elsewhere, a children's choir and some very special surprise guests!

Fondation du Dr Julien needs community support to continue offering quality care and services to vulnerable children and their families. Garage à musique equips and "orchestrates" the lives of hundreds of children and youth in Hochelaga-Maisonneuve based on an approach centred on respecting the fundamental rights of children. The program combines the collective practice of music with community-based social pediatrics, while also providing a space for learning thanks to their specialized school assistance.
