Renowned private and academic analysts in Toronto will discuss global disarmament arguments
TORONTO, Nov. 10 /CNW/ - Four major Canadian peace organizations are sponsoring a free public forum with world renowned speakers, some of them by video link from their home countries.

The purpose of the forum is to help citizens understand the urgent need to push for the abolition of nuclear weapons, in light of the hopeful climate and the means for achieving it.
Friday evening's session, introduced by Mayor David Miller, will feature Hiroshima mayor Tadatoshi Akiba, author Jonathan Schell, UK High Commissioner Anthony Cary, and moderator Alexa McDonough.
Speakers on Saturday include Pavel Podvig, Ernie Regehr, Trevor Findlay, Michael Wallace, Michael Byers, Adele Buckley, Rebecca Johnson, Christopher Westdal, and Douglas Roche OC.
