WHAT:
Moms are champions for their families: acting as caregiver, organizer, cheerleader, chauffeur, and much more. As a token of thanks and appreciation for the amazing things moms do, the Morningside Walmart store in Toronto is transforming into MOMmart over Mother's Day weekend (Friday, May 11 – Sunday, May 13). In-store festivities begin on Friday and will run until Mother's Day. Moms and their families are invited to join the celebration.

Walmart recognizes that all moms really want is for their children to grow up healthy, happy and worry-free. That's why Walmart is proud to kick off its annual Children's Miracle Network campaign to support the 4,900 children who walk through the doors of its 14 member hospitals across Canada. Last year's campaign raised $11.6 million to support critical research and education, purchase life-saving equipment, and ensure excellence in care, all in support of the organization's mission to save and improve the lives of as many Canadian children as possible. Since 1994, Walmart Canada has raised and donated more than $120 million for Children's Miracle Network.
