TORONTO, Nov. 3, 2017 /CNW/ - The Technical Standards Safety Authority (TSSA) will unveil its full scale model Carbon Monoxide (CO) Safety House designed to engage participants in a visually impactful, interactive experience with various sources of CO found in the home.
Through an Augmented Reality Experience, the CO Safety House will educate participants on the CO risks associated with common fuel-burning appliances in the home and how to prevent those risks.
Carbon Monoxide Awareness Week runs from November 1 to 7, and this year TSSA has once again partnered with the Office of the Fire Marshal and Emergency Management in ongoing efforts to raise awareness of the risks and the preventative steps to protect against CO exposure and poisonings.
The CO Safety House will be showcased at upcoming Home Shows throughout Ontario in early 2018 to reach as many people as possible.
