TORONTO , Oct. 9 /CNW/ - The Ontario Association of Children's Aid Societies (OACAS) and its member agencies announce expected effects of government cut-backs on services to vulnerable children and families.

While the Ontario Government is embroiled in a financial scandal involving eHealth, thousands of children in the care of Ontario's Children's Aid Societies will feel the effects of government cutbacks to services. Ontario's CAS are mandated to provide essential child protection services but have been under-funded historically, particularly this year.
