/R E P E A T -- Media Advisory - News Conference - 2010 Olympics: What's the
score on climate change?/

VANCOUVER, Feb. 1 /CNW/ - With the 2010 Winter Olympics just days away, the David Suzuki Foundation will issue its findings on how well the event performed in addressing its climate impact. Canadian Alpine Ski Team member Kelly VanderBeek and former Olympic speed skater Ingrid Liepa will join Dr. David Suzuki and Foundation staff at the news conference.

Considering that environment is the official third pillar of the Olympic movement and that global warming threatens the very future of winter sports, the 2010 Vancouver Olympics are in a position to show leadership and deliver a strong message to the world about solutions to climate change and global warming.
