/R E P E A T -- Media Advisory - Media event to mark the 25th anniversary of the Jacques-Cantin Lodge/

MONTREAL, April 24, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ -

A third of Quebecers living with cancer (16,500) need to travel for their treatment.

Facing the pain and fear of cancer alone, far from loved ones isn't easy. Some patients may feel more tired and sick.

Fortunately, some 600 Quebecers undergoing cancer treatment in Montreal are welcomed each year by the Canadian Cancer Society.

Saturday, April 25, 2015
from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
(press briefing at 10:30 a.m., one-on-one interviews and a tour of the premises afterward)
Canadian Cancer Society
5151 de l'Assomption Blvd.
Montreal, QC H1T 4A9
