/R E P E A T -- Media Advisory - IIROC Forum on High Frequency Trading - October 19, 2015/
TORONTO, Oct. 15, 2015 /CNW/ - The Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC), in collaboration with the Capital Markets Institute at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, will host a public forum on October 19, 2015, which will examine the impact of high frequency trading (HFT) and related activity on Canadian equity markets.
The forum will feature the authors of five academic papers produced for IIROC as part of its comprehensive HFT study, in a robust and thought-provoking discussion with market participants, regulators, academics and other stakeholders.
