Working Smoke Alarms: Test Yours Every Month

Join the Office of the Fire Marshal and Emergency Management, the Burlington Fire Department and fire service representatives as they launch Fire Prevention Week 2014 with a screening of a new video called 'Test Yours Today'. The video promotes the monthly testing of smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) alarms. |
Other features of the provincial event include a 'selfie' photo booth for attendees to demonstrate how to 'Test Yours Today' with a larger-than-life smoke and CO alarm, a smoke and CO alarm information table, a crash course on what is required to work in a fire department, Burlington Fire Department apparatus and Sparky, the Fire Dog. |
