/CNW/ - The Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND), will be host to
Dr. David Suzuki
, recent Right Livelihood Award winner, at a public event to raise awareness about the links between health and the state of our environment, on
November 13, 2009
. This prestigious award was given to Suzuki by the Right Livelihood Award Foundation for, "his lifetime advocacy of the socially responsible use of science, and for his massive contribution to raising awareness about the perils of climate change and building public support for policies to address it."
Dr. Suzuki
's lecture, "The Challenge of the 21st Century: Setting the Bottom Line." will be held at the
Toronto
Congress Centre. Media passes are available for this event and general admission costs

where members of the OAND, patients and public attendees will have the opportunity to further discuss this issue.
