ODANAK, QC, Sept. 25, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Kiuna Institution and the First Nations Education Council (FNEC) are pleased to invite you to the inauguration of the traditional Shaputuan built as part of the Cultural Spaces educational project which received financial support from the Ministère de l'Éducation, de l'Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche.
Designed by Philippe Rock, an Elder from de community of Pessamit, this impressive bark dwelling was built according to traditional Innu techniques. The Shaputuan will be used as a gathering place and a classroom where traditional knowledge can be handed down to students in a natural setting.
