TORONTO, Jan. 21 /CNW/ - After 13 months of auditioning some of Canada's most promising talent, the bill for "A Night at Massey Hall" has been set. Over 35 artists will be meeting for the first time at Toronto's Hazelton Hotel on Jan. 24 to learn the role they will play in this musical showcase.

Performing at Toronto's legendary Massey Hall before an audience of 3,000 fans and supporters on November 17, 2010, the chosen artists will feature music from the 1950s, 60s and 70s. All proceeds from the event and its accompanying CDs and DVDs will go to aid SOS Children's Villages, the world's largest charity for orphaned and abandoned children.

"Performers from age seven to 70 will have their chance to shine at Massey Hall," says Andrea Iscoe, the show's producer. "It's a showcase of undiscovered Canadian talent and the winner is SOS Children's Villages."

Celebrity 60s DJ, Duff Roman, hosts the event and welcomes artists from British Columbia, Manitoba and Ontario including students from Toronto's Claude Watson School for the Performing Arts.
