MONTRÉAL, Oct. 7, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - Close to 500 B2B meetings will take place today between 23 high-profile prime manufacturers and 125 Québec-based SMEs at the 8th edition of the Buyer/Supplier Day, hosted by STIQ.
The business meetings will be carried out in a meticulously planned "business speed dating" format. STIQ pays careful attention to matching expertise provided by the SMEs with the supply requirements expressed by the prime manufacturers. This attention to details means that each company can expect relevant meetings and that those precious few minutes are optimized.
"Québec SMEs need to diversify their portfolio to protect themselves from market fluctuations and today's event is the perfect opportunity to position themselves within major players' supply chain. In fact, many participants have reported how quickly STIQ Buyer/Supplier Day helped them make new contacts and significantly benefited their business" explains Normand Voyer, Chief Executive Officer at STIQ.
Leveraging its contacts network in the manufacturing sector and its extensive knowledge of Québec's industrial capacity, STIQ welcomes for 2014 prime manufacturers from Canada, USA and Mexico that are active in prominent industry segments, at various points along international supply chains.
