SYDNEY, NS, Nov. 20 /CNW/ - Insurance Bureau of Canada (IBC), on behalf of Canada's home, car and business insurers, is joining forces with the Operation Red Nose Sydney and the Cape Breton University Students' Union to get holiday revelers - and their vehicles - home safely during the holiday season.
Operation Red Nose is a free designated-driver service that helps keep roads safe. Last year over 600 volunteers helped drive in excess of 1700 Nova Scotians and their vehicles home and raised over $27,000 for Safe Grad programs in Sydney, Truro and Halifax.
A news conference will be held to launch the 2009 campaign in Sydney:
