As previously reported, Quiznos has initiated Chapter 11 proceedings in the U.S. in order to implement a financial restructuring plan that will reduce the Company's debt by more than $400 million. The Company's international operations, including those in Canada, are expected to conduct business as usual throughout the restructuring process.
All but three of Quiznos restaurants in Canada are independently owned and operated by franchisees. Quiznos will continue working with its franchisees in Canada, the U.S. and elsewhere around the world to strengthen the brand, build momentum and improve growth and profitability.
