QUÉBEC AND ONTARIO PARTNER TO FIGHT CLIMATE CHANGE

COPENHAGEN , Denmark , Dec. 12 /CNW Telbec/ - Québec Sustainable Development, Environment and Parks Minister Line Beauchamp and Ontario Environment Minister John Gerretsen will outline their plans for COP-15 and share their views on major climate change initiatives occurring in Canada at a news conference in Copenhagen on December 13, 2009 .

Both ministers will speak about the opportunities COP-15 presents for their respective provinces and for Canada . Québec and Ontario have both committed to significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions and have developed comprehensive action plans to fight climate change.
