Q-Sensei Wins 2012 IT Innovation Award (Innovationspreis-IT) at CeBIT
Announces New York City office in Downtown Brooklyn
NEW YORK and ERFURT, Germany, March 13, 2012 /CNW/ - Q-Sensei Corp., the multi-dimensional search and indexing technology company, has been lauded winner of the 2012 Innovationspreis-IT (IT Innovation Award), Knowledge Management category at CeBIT, the world's largest computer technology conference. Q-Sensei, along with 39 other category winners - from cloud to social media - was recognized on Friday, March 9, at IBM's booth at CeBIT in Hanover, Germany.
The annual award, given by Initiative Mittelstand (German Initiative for Small and Medium Enterprises), and this year under the patronage of IBM and the Beauftragte der Bundesregierung für Informationstechnik (Federal Government Commissioner for Information Technology), recognizes varied technology companies with "innovative solutions that can help SMEs maintain competitive advantage."
Over 2,500 technology companies applied in 40 categories for the prestigious award, now in its ninth year. Winners were selected by a jury of over 100 industry experts. The Knowledge Management category includes solutions in business intelligence, knowledge management, knowledge engineering, idea management, and innovations management. Q-Sensei's next-generation search and indexing platform helps companies of all sizes organize, manage and leverage the wealth of data from which information and knowledge can be gleaned for business advantage.
