PVLA Calls on Premier to Suspend Site C Dam ALR Land Exclusion
VANCOUVER, May 8, 2015 /CNW/ - Today, the Peace Valley Landowner Association (PVLA) called on Premier Christy Clark to suspend the BC government decision to remove 3715 hectares (9180 acres) of land from the ALR for Site C.
PVLA President Ken Boon says, " This is the largest ALR exclusion in BC history and there is more to come. We need Agricultural Land Commission review and public hearings, especially in light of the California drought."
