PV Fluid Products Announces Merger With Melastor

HOUSTON, Oct. 21, 2013 /CNW/ - PV Fluid Products ("PV") is pleased to announce that it is merging its operations with those of Melastor in both Texas and Germany. We view this as a significant milestone for our company in that we now provide full internal manufacturing and reline services for our power sections.

Robert Schnabele, President and Managing Director of Melastor, commented; "We're excited to combine our manufacturing operations with a company that has been solely focused on supplying power sections to the industry for the past twenty years."

Joe Kerr, President of PV, will be responsible for the combined organization, which will do business under the globally recognized name of PV Fluid Products. He added; "We're very happy to combine Melastor's history of manufacturing technology with PV's twenty years of power section expertise."

Melastor's proprietary technology was the foundation which enabled it to become a leading manufacturer of rotors, stators and reline services with operations in Houston, Texas and Wolfenbuettel, Germany.

PV is a privately held industry leader in the design, manufacture and field application of mud motor power sections used in downhole, horizontal and directional drilling on a worldwide basis.
