Public Service Announcement - MEOW Foundation Charity Auction

CALGARY, April 6 /CNW/ - The MEOW Foundation, a no-kill animal rescue society that rescues abandoned cats and kittens is hosting its second annual on-line auction called the Silent MEOW from April 30 to May 7, 2010.

This fundraiser will not only support MEOW's efforts to continue to rescue cats but it will allow people to choose from over 200 items in various price ranges. Supporters can bid on everything from vacation get-a-ways to delicious restaurant gift certificates and from beautiful jewelry to amazing pieces of art.

The various on-line auction items can be viewed and purchased at from April 30 to May 7, 2010.


The MEOW Foundation is the only Calgary-wide no-kill registered charity that rescues and cares for stray and abandoned cats, matches rescued cats to suitable adopters and fosters, and provides Trap-Neuter-Return services. Meow Foundation creates healthier communities that support and value responsible and compassionate human-cat relationships and animal care. Since its inception 10 years ago, MEOW Foundation has rescued over 4500 cats and kittens and found them new homes.
