GATINEAU, QC, Oct. 19, 2026 /CNW/ -- Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) wishes to advise users that one of the cycling lanes on the Hull Causeway of the Chaudière Crossing will be closed to the public for maintenance work during the following periods:
- Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
During these periods, the Gatineau-bound cycling lane on the Hull Causeway will be closed. Cyclists travelling toward Gatineau will be required to dismount and use the adjacent sidewalk alongside pedestrians. Vehicular lanes will remain open to traffic in both directions, and the Ottawa-bound cycling lane will remain open. Users are asked to exercise caution and respect all posted signage while travelling through the work zone.
The schedule may change depending on weather conditions.
