POINTE-À-LA-CROIX, QC, May 11, 2018 /CNW/ - Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) wishes to advise users that the J.C. Van Horne Bridge will be closed to allow for the filming of the movie Blood Quantum during the following periods:
- Sunday, May 13, at 9 pm, to Monday, May 14, at 6 am
- Monday, May 14, at 9 pm, to Tuesday, May 15, at 6 am
- Tuesday, May 15, at 9 pm, to Wednesday, May 16, at 6 am
The film crew will be on site the day of May 12 to install the required equipment, but there will be no closure during that time.
During the closing periods, a detour will be in place via the Matapédia Interprovincial Bridge. Flagpersons will be on site and traffic signage will be in place to guide traffic. Emergency vehicles will be authorized to use the bridge at all times during the filming.
The schedule may change depending on weather conditions.
