Company completes acquisition of BigDataLabs technology in conjunction with new subsidiary launch
TORONTO, Jan. 17, 2012 /CNW/ - Boutique advisory and technology services company, Project X Ltd., today announced the launch of a new subsidiary focused on business intelligence and data visualization software development and products. The new subsidiary, Project X Labs Ltd., was created as a platform to serve global customers. In conjunction with its launch, Project X Labs announced the acquisition of technology assets from California-based BigDataLabs.
Project X Labs acquired all GeoDash software technology assets as part of the agreement with BigDataLabs. GeoDash is a lightweight location and intelligence tool designed to integrate geospatial functions in MicroStrategy. The company will continue supporting all GeoDash customers and is committed to further development of the GeoDash product line. Product roadmap plans include tighter alignment with MicroStrategy technology and advancements towards offering mobile and social integration for easy sharing. Project X Labs plans a new release of GeoDash in early 2012.
