OUSA's report explores the various personal and societal benefits of higher education, including individual economic success, the beneficial outcomes of advanced research, and the economic "multiplier" effect of a university operating within a community. The report also highlights the urgent need to increase public funding for Ontario's universities to ensure and expand educational quality. Public support is also needed to ensure that every qualified Ontarian, regardless of background, can participate in higher education.
