Press conference tomorrow - Kahnawake to send strong message to Quebec

KAHNAWAKE, QC, Aug. 14, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to advise the media that it will be holding a press conference tomorrow (Tuesday) at which Grand Chief Joseph Tokwiro Norton will be sending a strong message to the Government of Quebec regarding its proposed Bill 85 to fast-track economic development along Highway 30.

National Assembly, Quebec City (Avenue Honoré-Mercier entrance)

 

Wendake Chief Konrad Sioui of the Huron-Wendat Nation and Assembly of First Nations of Quebec-Labrador Regional Chief Ghislain Picard will also speak at the event.

In case of rain, the event will take place at the nearby Hilton Hotel, 1100 René Lévesque East.
