Francophone organizations from Ontario and national Francophone organizations give their support to Égalité santé en français, who is challenging in court the New Brunswick government for its health reforms that reduced the number of regional health authorities from eight to two, abolishing the French Health Authority Beauséjour and creating more inequalities in health services between the Francophone regions and the Anglophone regions. Well known personalities will be at the press conference : Mariette Carrier-Fraser president of l'Assemblée de la franophonie de l'Ontario, Dr Bernard Leduc, CEO of Hôpital Montfort, Gisèle Lalonde, president of SOS Montfort, Marie-France Kenny president of la Fédération des communautés francophones et acadiennes, Benoit Pelletier, Ottawa University professor and former provincial Quebec Minister and other politic personalities (M.P. and senators) and representatives of the franco-ontariens organizations and national francophone organizations. Dr. Hubert Dupuis, president of Égalité santé en français and Former Chief Justice Michel Bastarache will be present to give an update on the court challenge.
