President of FedEx Express Canada writes new memoir on resilience, and breaking the glass ceiling
TORONTO, Oct. 17, 2017 /CNW/ - Lisa Lisson, President of FedEx Express Canada, has released her first book Resilience: Navigating Life, Loss, and the Road to Success today across North America. Lisson is a powerful and inspirational advocate for women's advancement, and her story of breaking through the glass ceiling to become one of Canada's top business leaders is now available for purchase.
Lisson wrote this memoir to give back to the community of women who have been instrumental to her own success, and to give others the tools to shatter the glass ceiling. Her goal is to empower others, to share her story, and to let women know they're not alone.
Resilience follows Lisson's professional and personal journey, including climbing the ranks at one of the world's most recognized brands, while dealing with overwhelming personal loss.
Lisson is the first Canadian and first woman to hold the post of president at FedEx Express, and she was inducted in the Women's Executive Network's Hall of Fame after being named one of Canada's Top 100 Most Powerful Women four consecutive years in a row. In 2012, she was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal in recognition of her achievements and work in the community.
Resilience is now available through Amazon and Indigo in both hard copy and ebook formats.
