AUSTIN, Texas and PORTLAND, Ore., Feb. 4, 2015 /CNW/ -- Aurigo Software is pleased to announce that the Port of Portland, Oregon, America's fourth largest export port on the west coast, has selected Aurigo Masterworks as its new capital project portfolio management software that will be deployed over the cloud.
The Port of Portland encompasses four marine terminals, five industrial parks and three airports, including PDX. The Port's industrial and business parks are home to over 300 firms, which generate in excess of 31,000 jobs. The Port's capital programs over the planning cycle run into billions of dollars.
Aurigo Masterworks will replace all of the Port's legacy programs for construction planning and program management. In the Port's detailed analysis of the competitive offerings, Aurigo Masterworks was placed significantly superior to the competitive offerings, with CIPPlanner and e-Builder ranked a distant second and third, respectively. Ease of use, Flexible Platform and Seamless Integration to their existing IT infrastructure were decisive criteria for the Port.
"We're excited and look forward to working with Aurigo! The seven person evaluation team unanimously ranked Aurigo the highest based on Qualification of Proposer, Project Approach, Project Management, Solution Functionality, Technical Design, System Support and Maintenance. We are ready to take our project and portfolio management to the next level!" said Josh Moriarty, Project Manager, Port of Portland.
"Aurigo Software is the leader in capital project management software, and we are delighted to enter into an enterprise wide, extended partnership to improve Port of Portland's capital project planning and execution efficiencies. The solution will also enable external contractors to work with the Port in real-time," said Balaji Sreenivasan, CEO, Aurigo Software Technologies, Inc.
