Point d'avance : Beneva brings industry leaders together to strengthen prevention in commercial insurance
FrançaisA successful first edition
QUEBEC, Nov. 5, 2026 /CNW/ -- To help businesses stay ahead of risk and take a more proactive approach to commercial insurance, Beneva created Point d'avance, a new event focused on prevention and resilience across the industry. The first edition was held on November 4 and brought together experts, partners and industry leaders with a shared goal: finding new ways to better understand emerging risks and prepare for them.
At a time when unexpected events such as water damage and cyberattacks are becoming more frequent and more severe, and as climate change continues to reshape the environments in which organizations operate, Point d'avance gave participants an opportunity to explore solutions for the future. Discussions focused on reducing the impact of losses and helping organizations build greater resilience.
Throughout the day, leading experts delivered presentations on a range of topics, including climate change, cybersecurity, the circular economy, vehicle theft, asset management, insurance premium costs, and disaster recovery.
At Beneva, risk management and environmental responsibility are fundamental to value creation. Adaptability and shared responsibility remain central to the organization's efforts to better support its clients.
"Our goal was to bring insurers, businesses and industry experts together to position prevention as a key driver of performance and resilience. It is an innovative approach that also speaks to Beneva's unique way of doing things", said Bruno Perrino, Vice-President, Direct Distribution, Commercial Insurance and Affiliated Network at Beneva.
