Moving and storage leader announces sale of Halifax, Canada franchise

CLEARWATER, FL, Oct 6 /CNW/ - PODS Enterprises, Inc., today announced the sale of a new franchise in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

"Since opening our Ottawa market in 2006, we have achieved a significant amount of success within a very short period of time," said Peter Hauderowicz, owner of PODS' Ottawa franchise.  "The PODS® brand has been well received in Ottawa and the growth exceeded our expectations. We hope to duplicate our success in Halifax by offering our flexible, industry-leading solution to moving and storage."

PODS customers in Halifax can utilize PODS containers for storage onsite or in a secure PODS Storage Center. Additionally, customers can move locally, cross-country and between Canada and the United States. Operations are tentatively scheduled to begin in March 2011.

PODS also plans to open new franchises in Montreal and Quebec City in 2011. Operations are scheduled to begin in the United Kingdom in October 2010.
