Piscines Val-Morin is bankrupt - all stores to close

MONTREAL, May 4 /CNW/ - Montreal based Piscines Val-Morin is closing after 37 years in business.

The company which specialized in spas, patio furniture, barbecues, above ground and inground pools and accessories, had a failed proposal under the Bankruptcy Act.

Over 200 full and part-time employees have been affected by this closure.

A liquidation of over $5 million in inventory is presently underway in the company's stores in Laval, Pierrefonds and Dorion.
