Pharmaceutical Trust (The "Trust") - Trust maturing

TORONTO , Oct. 8 /CNW/ - First Defined Portfolio Management Co., the manager of the Trust, hereby announces that the Trust will mature at midnight on December 15, 2009 .

Unitholders will continue to have the right to redeem their units in the Trust prior to the date of maturity. All units not redeemed prior to the maturity date will be automatically redeemed at that time.

No further expenses will be accrued to the Trust after the date of this press release.
