TORONTO and VANCOUVER, Sept. 15, 2014 /CNW/ - PayWith Worldwide, a Vancouver-based mobile payments, rewards, and marketing company, today responded to Apple Inc.'s September 9 announcement about the launch of Apple Pay, a mobile payment platform available on the new NFC-enabled iPhone 6.
"PayWith has built a rewards, loyalty and gifting platform based on its belief all smart phones would eventually be enabled with near field communication (NFC) to deliver a secure, fast and convenient way for consumers to transact with merchants," says PayWith CEO David Strebinger.

In the near future consumers with the new iPhone 6 will be able to use the device as a secure digital wallet for a wide range of credit cards, including private label or custom branded cards such as PayWith reward cards.
The increased adoption of mobile payments that Apple is now spurring, will mean more merchants and consumers will be discovering the benefits of using PayWith reward cards, says Strebinger.
