Patient self-service kiosk provider HealthAsyst and Salumatics form strategic
partnership for Canada
MISSISSAUGA, ON, Sept. 8 /CNW/ - Salumatics Inc. and HealthAsyst Pvt Ltd today announce a strategic partnership agreement in which Salumatics will be a value-added reseller of the HealthAsyst patient self-service kiosks in Canada. As part of this agreement Salumatics will leverage their local presence and industry expertise to market the kiosks and provide technical support to Canadian customers.
HealthAsyst patient self-service kiosks make the check-in process more convenient for patients by allowing them to identify themselves upon arrival at the facility; view and confirm demographic and health card information, and electronically sign consent documents. Through self-service automation the patient benefits from a secure, streamlined check-in experience and the medical facility improves the quality of care with increased data accuracy and targeted patient messaging.
According to Allan Magnacca, President and CEO of Salumatics, "We're delighted to be working with HealthAsyst to continue to make this technology available to the healthcare market in Canada. By automating the patient check-in and registration process, hospitals and walk-in clinics will enhance their patients' experience and improve the quality of care."
Says Mr. Umesh Bajaj, CEO HealthAsyst, "We are pleased to announce the signing of a partnership agreement with Salumatics for our self-service kiosk solutions. Health care organizations in Canada are eager to deploy self-service technologies to improve services to their patients and to reduce misuse of health care services. Salumatics has a strong local presence in Canada and has long term engagements with many of these health care organizations for its other services. We at HealthAsyst hope to capitalize on Salumatics industry position to quickly enter this important marketplace."
The patient registration software is highly customizable to meet the needs of each medical facility. Flexibility options include defining work flows, configuring the content of each screen, changing button shapes and captions, creating custom content for each department, and setting rules for displaying content selectively and dynamically.
