PASCAN Aviation confirms its schedule of flights from Saint John, NB, starting September 17

LONGUEUIL, QC, Aug. 9, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - On July 31, Serge Charron, President of Pascan Aviation, announced that Saint John Airport will be the first in New Brunswick to be served by PASCAN. Today, Mr. Charron announced the Monday-Friday schedule of flights, starting on September 17, between Quebec City and Saint John, Bonaventure and Fermont/Wabush:

Quebec City (YQB) to Saint John (YSJ)
Departure: 07:30 - Arrival: 09:45 (local time)
Saint John (YSJ) to Bonaventure (YVB)
Departure: 10:10 (local time) - Arrival: 09:55 (Bonaventure)
Bonaventure (YVB) to Fermont/Wabush (YWK)
Departure: 10:25 - Arrival: 12:45 (local time)
Fermont/Wabush (YWK) to Bonaventure (YVB)
Departure: 14:50 (local time) - Arrival: 15:10
Bonaventure (YVB) to Saint John (YSJ)
Departure: 15:50 - Arrival: 17:35 (local time)
Saint John (YSJ) to Quebec City (YQB)
Departure: 18:00 (local time) - Arrival: 18:15

Mr. Charron pointed out that "since announcing this new destination, we've received several messages of congratulations, and inquiries from a number of companies about travel arrangements for their employees. Our fares are available on our website at, and passengers can book online or by calling 1-888-885-8777. PASCAN will initially use JetStream 32 planes and eventually switch to ATR-42s."

Passengers who book a flight between Saint John, NB, and any one of the 17 destinations served by PASCAN between August 7 and November 30, 2012, could win roundtrip airfare for two between Saint John and Montreal (Saint-Hubert), including a two-night stay at Hôtel Brossard ( and a surprise activity, depending on the season. Passengers are entered in the contest automatically on booking.


PASCAN Aviation is the largest independent airline in Quebec. The company, whose head office is located at the Montreal Saint-Hubert Airport in Longueuil, employs 315 people, including 85 pilots. Starting on September 17, 2012, flights will run between the Saint John Airport, in New Brunswick, and Quebec City, Bonaventure and Fermont/Wabush.
