CHARLOTTETOWN, PEI, Nov. 4, 2014 /CNW/ - Canadian manufacturer Paderno Cookware has teamed up with Trees in Trust programs across Canada in the work to preserve Canadian trees and wildlife and reduce CO2 and global warming.
Made in Prince Edward Island, a portion of every sale from Paderno's new NatureTrust frying pans and everyday pans are donated to Trees In Trust. "We are very excited to partner with a quality Canadian company like Paderno to further our cause of preserving our great Canadian environment. This donation will be divided among Canadian land trusts, and used to secure at least 10 acres of endangered forests." Andrew Lush, President of Trees in Trust.
Paderno's new Made-in-Canada NatureTrust pan is a nature conscious decision for your kitchen. "Using only the finest quality materials, we have taken steps to ensure the pan has been manufactured with the environment soundly in mind" says Tim Casey, President of Paderno. "Unlike most traditional coatings, our system is entirely waterborne … handling, mixing, and cleanup with water, not chemicals or solvents … and even our packaging is printed on recycled paper." added Mr. Casey
The pan is made from solid 18/10 stainless steel, the ceramic nonstick coating is enviro-friendly and completely PFOA and PTFE free. Safe for all stovetops, including induction, the special bottom pad provides fast heat conduction so you can use less energy and this pan is backed by Paderno's exceptional 25-year warranty.
The NatureTrust pan can be found at quality kitchen stores nation-wide or at paderno.com.
